Take online payments with your bank’s payment gateway
If your bank has given you a virtual POS (the one for taking payments online), connect it to Evoflor and you can take payments remotely by card or Bizum: the customer pays from their phone and the money lands in your usual account. If you use Stripe, you can connect it too — Stripe only or both — (see below).
It’s your POS that gets connected, not an Evoflor one. The fees are whatever you’ve negotiated with your bank and Evoflor doesn’t add any. We never touch the money.
Before you start: the three details
You need three things from your virtual POS. They’re the same any online shop asks for:
- Merchant number (FUC) — 9 digits.
- Terminal — usually
1(or001). If you have several, the internet one. - Secret signing key (SHA-256) — a long string of letters and numbers.
The secret signing key is the key to your POS: it’s what takes payments. Treat it like a password. Evoflor stores it encrypted, never shows it again and it doesn’t appear on any screen.
Where to find those details, bank by bank
Almost all Spanish banks use the same platform underneath (Redsys), so the path is very similar:
- CaixaBank — log in to the virtual POS portal and look for Administración › Consulta datos de comercio. The signing key appears as Clave secreta de encriptación or Clave SHA-256.
- Santander / Getnet — E-commerce portal › Configuración › Datos de comercio.
- BBVA — TPV Virtual within business online banking › Mi comercio › Datos.
- Sabadell, Unicaja, Bankinter, Ibercaja, rural savings banks… — the shared portal
canales.redsys.es, section Administración › Consulta datos de comercio.
If you can’t find the key or the portal won’t let you see it, ask your branch or your bank’s e-commerce service: tell them you need “the FUC, the terminal and the SHA-256 secret signing key of my virtual POS to connect my management software”. It’s a completely normal request; they handle it every day for online shops.
If you have one POS for Bizum and another for cards
Some banks give you one POS only for Bizum and another only for cards, each with its own merchant number. Connect both: for each POS you choose What this POS is for (Card, Bizum or Card and Bizum), and with Add another POS you connect the next one.
When you create a payment link you choose Card or Bizum (and Stripe if you have it), and your customer only sees that payment method. Whatever is collected through the Bizum POS is recorded as Paid · Bizum.
Connecting it (just once)
- Open Settings › Payments.
- Enter the merchant number and the terminal, and paste the secret signing key.
- In Name the customer will see, enter your flower shop’s name: it’s what appears on the payment screen and on your customer’s statement (25 characters max).
- Tick Bizum only if your bank has enabled it on that POS. If you’re not sure, leave it unticked: you can turn it on later in two clicks.
- Tap Save and test connection.
If everything is fine you’ll see Connection successful and the Connected label. If something fails, the message tells you what: usually it’s a partially pasted key or the wrong terminal.
The connection test doesn’t charge anything or create any transaction: it just asks your bank whether the keys are valid.
Quick payment link (the shortest way)
In Today or Orders, tap Payment link. Enter what’s being paid for and the amount (the date and customer are optional) and tap Create link: it copies itself and you paste it into the chat with your customer.
Behind the scenes a pending order is created. When the customer pays, it moves to Paid on its own. Whatever is missing —delivery, recipient, card message— you complete later with Complete order.
Would you rather no order were created? In Settings › Payments, under “Payment link” button, choose Payment link only. Then the button only generates the link (with no date) and, in the same box, Links sent tells you which ones are Paid and lets you copy them again or cancel them. Note: those payments don’t appear in Orders, in the till or in Finance.
Taking payment by link for an order you already have
The most common case: you already have the order —they told you over the phone or you took it from the WhatsApp chat— and all that’s left is for the customer to pay.
- In Orders › New order, at the Payment step, choose Payment link and create the order as usual.
- The order record opens with the link ready. Tap Send on WhatsApp.
- Your customer opens the link, sees the order and the amount, and taps Pay. They don’t have to fill anything in.
- As soon as the bank collects the payment, the order moves to Paid · Card on its own.
If you have both the POS and Stripe connected, at the Payment step you also choose which one collects. In the record, with the link ready, you can switch from one to the other: the link stays the same, only who collects changes.
Thought of it afterwards? Every pending order’s record has a Take payment by link button: it prepares the same link for you to send whenever you like.
The link is always the same for each order: resending it doesn’t create another one. And if the customer opens it again after paying, they’ll see “Order paid”: they can’t pay twice.
From then on
- The order links you send on WhatsApp end with a Pay button. Your customer pays by card on your bank’s secure page and the order reaches you already confirmed and paid, marked as paid by card.
- If the customer pays and closes their phone without returning to the page, the order still comes in: it’s your bank that notifies us, not their browser.
- If their card is declined, they’re told nothing has been charged and they can try again.
- If, when creating the link, you tick “Allow paying in store”, your customer can choose between paying now or paying on collection or delivery.
- You can change the details whenever you like. If you only change the terminal, leave the key empty and it won’t be touched.
- Disconnecting stops new payments. Payments already made are kept: they’re your history.
- Only the owner can see and configure this screen.
If you take payments with Stripe
If you have a Stripe account, connect it on the same screen, in the Take online payments with your Stripe account card. The money goes to your Stripe account and from there to your bank, with Stripe’s fees. Evoflor doesn’t add any.
- In your Stripe dashboard: Developers › API keys › Create restricted key.
- Name it “Evoflor” and give it Write permission on Checkout Sessions, Webhook Endpoints and Refunds. Everything else, “None”.
- Copy the key (it starts with
rk_live_), paste it into Settings › Payments and tap Save and test connection.
Evoflor checks the key and sets up the payment notification in your Stripe account, which is what marks orders as paid automatically. It doesn’t charge anything.
Record Stripe payments as: choose Stripe to see them separately in the till (that money reaches you through Stripe a few days later, not with the card terminal) or Card if you’d rather see them together with card payments. You can change it whenever you like without pasting the key again.
With both connected, at the top you choose which one collects by default. On each order you can choose the other.
A key starting with rk_test_ is a test key: the screen warns you in yellow and the payments aren’t real. To take real payments, use the rk_live_ one.
What does NOT change
- Your counter card terminal stays exactly the same. This is for taking payments remotely.
- Your fees are your bank’s (or Stripe’s, if you collect through Stripe).
- Invoices and receipts are still issued from Evoflor exactly as before.
