Softigal, Florenet, Programflor, Verial, Evoflor… the names come up in every search, but nobody tells you what matters: which software suits YOUR flower shop. Because there’s no such thing as “the best software” in the abstract — there’s the best for a counter shop, the best for a shop that lives off deliveries and the best for one that does twenty weddings a year. In this guide we help you choose by type of flower shop, with honest recommendations (and yes, Evoflor is ours: we say so, and we’ll still tell you when we’re NOT the best option).
The classic mistake is to start by comparing software. Start by comparing yourself:
With those answers, find your profile below. The details for each program are those published by each maker at the time of publication (July 2026) — details and prices in our comparison of the best florist software.
Your case: you sell what comes through the door. Few orders, no own delivery, no weddings.
What you need: a fast florist POS, a daily till and correct receipts. Not much more — for now.
What to look at: here a retail touch POS like Carmen WKS, a cloud generalist like eactivo or even a cheap generic POS may be enough. Our honest advice: don’t pay for delivery and events modules you won’t use… but check two things before signing up: that the software is ready for Verifactu (receipts count too) and that you can grow without changing software, because the day you accept your first “for Thursday, it’s a surprise” order, a pure POS falls short. We explain it in what a florist POS should have.
Your case: the classic — counter plus phone plus WhatsApp, home deliveries every day, a driver (or you yourself with the van).
What you need: orders with date/slot/address/card message, ordered delivery routes, delivery confirmation and customer updates.
What to look at: this is the territory of cloud-based specialists. Evoflor is exactly for you (optimised routes, a driver app with delivery photo, WhatsApp with buyer and recipient kept separate — how delivery works). Florenet covers this profile with a lower entry price — compare the full package including its drivers module. Programflor also handles delivery from a smartphone, although without advertised route optimisation, published prices or a self-service trial. Choose by trying the same week of orders in two of them: whichever leaves your route ready in five minutes wins.
Your case: weddings are your margin. Big quotes, months in advance, proposals competing with other flower shops.
What you need: quoting by line item with real costs (recipe costing), taking deposits with a record, and above all a proposal that sells — not an Excel table.
What to look at: here we’re clearly biased because it’s our strongest point: Evoflor produces branded web + PDF proposals, locks the quote when sent and shows margin per line item (weddings and events). In the rest of the Spanish market, Verial covers the administrative flow of an event (quote → order → invoice) with ERP solidity, although without the beautiful proposal layer for the couple. If you live off weddings, ask to see that final document in any software you evaluate: it’s what the couple compares you with.
Your case: two shops, stock to control in detail, an accountant asking for reports, perhaps integrated accounting.
What you need: depth of management — multi-warehouse stock, multiple price lists, accounting reports.
What to look at: Verial is the natural candidate (a full ERP with a florist vertical: compositions, flower expiry, multiple price lists; from €49.40/month, installed on a local network). Softigal Florshop also aims here with multi-branch and no per-station licences. eactivo takes the administrative side to the cloud with e-commerce integration. Evoflor covers multiple users, finance and analytics on the Premium plan, but if your number one priority is classic ERP-style integrated accounting, those three are serious competitors. Our territory is yours again if what you want is for operations (orders–delivery–customers) to take centre stage.
Your case: you’ve just opened your flower shop or you’ve used a notebook for years and want to make the leap without drama.
What you need: something that works on the computer or phone you already have, with no installation or new hardware, with data migration included and no lock-in — in case you get it wrong.
What to look at: rule out installed software (it ties you to a PC and an implementation) and go for the cloud. Compare three specific conditions: a real trial (Evoflor gives 15 days with no card; Verial 30; Softigal 20; Florenet also offers a trial), migration included (in Evoflor it comes with a self-service Excel template) and no lock-in. Whichever makes it easiest to get in… and to get out respects you as a customer.
Whatever your profile: pick two finalists and give them the same real working week — your orders, your route, your till closing. Don’t choose by the feature list or by this guide: choose by which one let you finish first on Friday. Software looks alike on paper and differs in use.
| Your profile | First choice | Alternatives to look at |
|---|---|---|
| Pure counter | Touch POS or generalist (Carmen WKS, eactivo) | Evoflor Basic if you’re going to grow |
| Orders + delivery | Evoflor | Florenet, Programflor |
| Weddings and events | Evoflor Pro | Verial (administrative flow) |
| Administrative / multi-shop | Verial | Softigal, eactivo, Evoflor Premium |
| Starting out or leaving the notebook | Evoflor (15 days, migration included) | Florenet |
Which software is best for a small flower shop? For a small shop with orders and delivery, a cloud-based specialist (Evoflor, Florenet) with no installation or extra hardware. If it’s counter only, a touch POS may be enough at first — but confirm it complies with Verifactu.
Softigal, Florenet or Evoflor? Softigal (Florshop) is the classic Windows-installed option, solid and with no per-station licences. Florenet is cloud-based with a low entry price and modules extra. Evoflor is a cloud all-in-one with delivery, WhatsApp and weddings as strong points. The short answer: try them with your real week; almost all of them have a trial or a demo.
Can I change software later? Yes, and you should be able to: before signing up with any of them, confirm that you can export your data (customers, orders) to Excel/CSV whenever you want. Lock-in and data held hostage are the industry’s two red flags.
What if I do a bit of everything? That’s normal: counter + orders + the odd wedding. Then prioritise the all-in-one that covers your mix without separate modules, and use the free trial to check the part that matters most to you. That’s why we wrote the full comparison of florist software.
